KAISER+Co. GmbH A company this tradition behind it company Ours is a family buisiness, now in its fourth generation, and it employs about 30 staff. We specialise in the manufacture of toggle type latches, clamps and similar articles. With many years of experience behind us, well-qualified staff, modern machinery and our own machine-tool manufacturing department, we are flexible and responsive. top This is our programme The products illustrated alongside are just a few of the enormous range of goods in our manufacturing programme. In addition to our usual production ranges, which we can normally deliver ex stock, we also manufacture special parts to customer specifications, where order quantities justify this. Apart from steel (with and without surface treatment), most of our products are available in stainless steel as well. top Latches To make the choice easier, we have divided our latches into five broad classes - for each class, an example is illustrated alongside. Naturally enough, these groups overlap in a number of areas. top - DIN latches Latches to these designs were being manufactured by our company in the 1930s, long before they were standardised in the 1960s under:
top - Rigid latches These are designed for use where two components must be rigidly clamped together, and clamping energy must not be lost. Thus, exact location is essential to avoid overloads. top - Latches, spring loaded These take up fitting tolerances and compensate tension losses which can occur due to wear-and tear, or seating-in of seals. top - Latches, adjustable These also take up fitting tolerances, and can be repeatedly adjusted following loss of tension. top - Latches, loackable These are designed to resist unintentional release, and can be relied on to keep the latch closed even against vibration or shaking, or can be guaranteed to prevent unauthorised interference by application of a padlock. top Latches for clamping rings All locks in this group, including clamps, hooks and hinges, are radius-curved and are suitable for fitting to hose-clamps and clamping rings with a given profile. top Clamping bands We manufacture clamping bands in various shapes and sizes for all manner of applications, both in galvanised steel and in stainless steel (mostly material 1.4301, but also material 1.4571), for a range of diameters from 100 to 650 mm. top Grips and handles Some grips and handles we manufacture to DIN specifications, som are own developments. top Catch plates (hooks) The catch plates (hooks) required for proper tensioning of the clamps fall into two main categories: Form C - for fitting on the same plane as the clamp Form D - for fitting at right-angles of the clamp. Within each of these groups is a wide range of designs - always suited to the width of the clamp and material thickness. Special designs are always possible here too. top The supplementary programme Over the course of years, we have taken a lot of articles into our production range. A number of them have become regular products. The majority of them however are special productions, and are restricted to a single customer, on account of his having covered tooling costs. top contact Kaiser+Co.
